Image recognition AI-equipped trap-linked communication system "Aiwana(R)"
AI identifies and captures animals caught in traps. Remote monitoring 24/7 reduces the risks and labor of patrols.
The "Wild Animal Damage Prevention Image Recognition AI-Equipped Trap-Linked Communication System" is a system that uses AI to determine the type of animal captured in a box trap from surveillance camera footage. It only drops the door for specified animals and sends a notification via email. It can distinguish between wild boars, bears, and others, as well as between adults and juveniles. It can be retrofitted to existing box traps and allows for monitoring from a distance, reducing the risks and labor associated with patrols. 【Operational Flow】 1) Preparation of a trail camera with communication capabilities Users can prepare this and set the communication destination to our designated cloud server, or we can provide a trail camera with communication capabilities. A dedicated server for users can also be built (additional fee applies). 2) Preparation and registration of an email address for receiving alarm notifications. 【Features】 ■ Capable of building a wild boar and bear alarm system ■ Achieves 24-hour monitoring by using a combination of commercial power and solar power ■ Already implemented in Fukushima Prefecture and Koriyama City (for wild boars) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document.
